SUS is an outpatient-based urology practice. We specialize in minimally invasive outpatient surgery and office-based urologic care. Our specialists do not practice inpatient urology but maintain relationships, both locally and at university centers, with urologists who can provide those services for our patients.
Shenandoah Urologist Specialists (SUS) is a state-of-the-art urology practice that was founded in 2004 by Dr. K. Shane Geib. In 2006, Dr. Marc N. Richman joined the SUS practice.
From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll appreciate the friendly and caring attitudes of our physicians, nurses, and office staff.
Dr. Geib, Dr. Richman, and other members of the SUS healthcare team are dedicated to providing Winchester with the most advanced treatments in urologic care – with compassion and discretion. Equally important, we always set aside enough time to listen to you, understand your complete health situation, and explain your treatment options.
We are now offering the minimally invasive 30-minute treatment of Urgent PC. Urgent PC Neuromodulation System provides percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) for the Treatment of Overactive Bladder (OAB) and associated symptoms of urgency, frequency and urge incontinence.
Dr. Geib founded Shenandoah Urologic Specialists in 2004. Dr Geib is a board-certified urologist (American Board of Urology) and a Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at George Washington University. Earlier, he was an attending urologist at Inova Fairfax Hospital and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri and then completed his residency in urologic surgery at George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Dr. Richman joined Shenandoah Urologic Specialists in 2006.
Dr. Richman is a board certified urologist (Ame-rican Board of Urology). Earlier he was a Clinical Professor of Urologic Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Richman is a member of the American Urologic Association and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and then completed his residency in urologic surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
